Next week Funny Business heads out to Alexis Park Resort in Las Vegas, Nevada for the World Series of Comedy.

The ‘World Series’ features six full days of live stand-up comedy, featuring hundreds of up-and-coming comedians from across the country.

Our comedy club booking agent Eric Yoder will be out in Vegas representing Funny Business. Eric will judge several shows, staying up-to-date with the freshest faces and hottest acts in the stand-up comedy scene.

Comics will perform in shows from Monday, September 20th to Saturday, September 25th with a final show to crown the top-performing comedians as decided by audience members. Top-placing comedians will get work from various comedy clubs and booking agencies across the country, include work from Funny Business Agency.

Besides stand-up shows, there be will a host of other activities for comedy club bookers, owners and stand-up comedians to network and participate in the comedy community.

This will be Eric's 5th Comedy Festival where he has either participated or judged. These festivals keep Eric up-to-date with the current top-performers and notable up-and-coming acts. As a comedy club booking agent, this gives him additional expertise in knowing which acts are crowd pleasers, and which acts aren’t up to par to perform at your club.

Eric is also is on the Board of Directors for the 2nd Laughing Skull Comedy Festival (2011) in Atlanta, GA.

By the end of 2010, Eric will have attended comedy festivals in New Orleans, Duluth, Asheville, Atlanta and Las Vegas.
