The 5th Annual 'Laugh Your Asheville Off' Comedy Festival kicks-off next week, July 12th-16th, in the beautiful mountain town of Asheville, NC.

The festival has hand picked 70+ performers from all over the country and will also have some of the nation's hottest acts, such as comedy legend Carl Labove, Kyle Kinane, Rory Scovel, Tom Segura, Joe Zimmerman and more.
    
Known as one of the most comedian-friendly festivals in the country, "LYAO" is NOT a competition but rather an opportunity to showcase your talent, meet and network with comedians, as well as be seen by some of the country's top industry professionals (including Funny Business!).
 
This will be Funny Business' 3rd year attending the festival, and we've found it to be perfect for making face time with up-and-coming talent in a no-pressure, fun and easy-going atmosphere.
 
The Festival producer's Charlie Gerencer and Greg Brown, are both true lovers of stand-up comedy. Greg is also a comedian that performers regularly in the D.C. area as well as regionally. Charlie was a producer on the beginning seasons of "Last Comic Standing," a creative contributor for Jay Mohr, and has been involved in the comedy industry for many years.  Both are very welcoming, friendly, and honest people.
 
"Laugh Your Asheville Off" takes places in various locations in Asheville, NC on July 12-16th, including shows at the Diana Wortham Theatre, Magnetic Field Theatre and Highland Brewery.
