Phil DiTommaso His clean, family-oriented comedy is why Phil has been a success in front of such a wide variety of audiences. Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, Phil was a natural comedian since birth. In the maternity ward, instead of all the babies crying, Phil had them laughing. They were a great crowd! As Phil grew up, his family persuaded him to try out the comedy clubs in New York City. "Why not?", he thought. Phil enjoys making people laugh, he considers it a cheaper form of therapy. Thus began his career in comedy.
Phil’s routine is riveting. His audience participation will keep you on your seats. His Italian-American heritage make up one of the most unique performances you will ever see. Although his routine is laced with characters and impressions, His impression of Robert DeNiro portraying Moses in the Movie “The Ten Commandments” is hilarious. After spending some time performing at various comedy clubs throughout New York City, God touched Phil's life. He made a decision to live his life for The Lord Jesus Christ. God literally cleaned up Phil's act. He went from being a foul-mouthed, angry comic, to the clean, mature professional you see today. In fact, Phil will sometimes share what God has done in his life during or after his performance.
Phil has traveled all over the country to various Clubs and churches, performing his own One Man Show off-Broadway at The Lambs Theatre, headlining at Stand-Up New York's Clean Comedy Night, Co-hosting Orlando’s WTLN morning radio show and doing many other various radio and television spots. His latest is a one hour Family Network Television special called "Banana's. This versatility has helped Phil grow into what people have called "a real professional who is a natural in front of a crowd."
Over the past 15 years, doors have opened for Phil not only in the venue of the comedy clubs like The Comic Strip, Improv, and Stand-Up New York, but also corporate events, churches, fund raisers, cruise ships and yes, even weddings.
