David Dyer's energy, writing, and powerful delivery make him an exciting performer who is in increasingly high demand.

David Dyer's career in comedy began at a very early age. He is the youngest, least athletic, and third smartest of four boys born to his parents. He grew up in a household where The Golden Rule had been altered to read, "Do unto others before they do unto you". Desperately needing some sort of Darwinian adaptation to survive in such an environment, David developed a talent for exploiting peoples' flaws verbally and physically...a talent responsible for many contusions and lacerations.  Mockery and Sarcasm were his imaginary friends and he played with them for years until he reached the age of thirteen when other imaginary friends became more important.

After High School, David took his talents to Michigan State University where he found a home in the theatre department. He studied acting and directing and aspired to be one of the great Broadway directors of our time. He has since given up on that goal due to all the work involved in something like that.   A short time after graduating from MSU, David decided to fulfill a life-long dream and give stand up comedy a try. He wrote five minutes of material, attended an open mic night in Lansing, MI, and started out down a road his parents and wife thought would have taken him a lot farther by now.

David Dyer has been a stand up comic for eleven years, He has performed at clubs and colleges all over the country and worked with some of the best performers in the industry including Drew Carey, Lewis Black, Mary Ellen Hooper, Bob Zany, and many others. All of whom would have absolutely no recollection of David performing with them. He has contributed material to ABC's Politically Incorrect and The Zany Report performed by Bob Zany on The Bob and Tom Morning Show. In the past, he won The Grand Rapids Magazine Comedy Joke Off, a competition that put him up against many other comedians as well as the top radio talent in West Michigan. He is also an accomplished studio session singer and drummer.
